Produced in Germany, overseen by our chemist, who just so happens to be the founder of the brand! We are all climbers and care passionately about what we put on our/your skin!
Having researched many of the common chalk bands on the market, we found out that some brands contained harsh additives that are hard on the skin. Our chalk is additive free, with the exception of "Krux" that uses a food-safe additive to assist with excessive moisture. All our chalks carry a food grade rating in Germany!
We have analysed and tested many brands of chalk and found contaminants such as metals, fungus and plastics. Factories outside the EU don't always comply to the European standards that we do. These factors inspired us to create our own chalk and KettlerKalk was born!
